Website Opening on Install/Update

When you install or update the extension, it automatically opens a new browser tab to https://www.sqtech.dev/projects/whatsapp-direct-message. This is done to provide you with information about the extension and its features. No personal data is transmitted during this process.

Remote JSON Fetching for Ad Display

The extension fetches ad configuration data from a GitHub repository (via GitHub API) to display optional promotional content. This connection:

• Fetches ad configuration from a public GitHub repository
• Does not send any personal information, phone numbers, or user data
• Only retrieves ad display settings (enabled/disabled status and ad content)
• Occurs only when WhatsApp Web is loaded
• Does not track user interactions or collect analytics

No Tracking or Analytics

The extension does not implement:
