HistoryGuard Pro accesses only the following data from your Chrome browser:

• Chrome's local storage for saving your extension preferences

• Browsing content, form data, or private information

• Any data outside of browser history functionality

2. How We Process Your Data

All data processing occurs entirely on your local device:

• Real-time monitoring: We check new history entries against your keyword filters

• Immediate deletion: Matching history entries are deleted instantly without storage

• Local storage: Only your preferences and keyword lists are saved locally

• No transmission: Zero data is sent to external servers or third parties

• No collection: We do not collect, store, or retain any browsing history data

3. Data Storage and Retention

Data storage is limited to essential extension functionality:

• Extension settings: Stored locally using Chrome's storage API

• Keyword lists: Saved locally for filtering functionality

• User preferences: Stored locally for extension configuration

• History data: Processed in real-time and immediately deleted - never stored

• No external storage: All data remains on your device

• No data retention: Browsing history is not retained by our extension

4. Chrome Extension Permissions

HistoryGuard Pro requires the following Chrome permissions:

• 'storage': To save your extension preferences and keyword lists locally

• 'history': To monitor and delete browser history entries in real-time

• 'tabs': To open the project page when the extension is installed

These permissions are used exclusively for the stated functionality and nothing else.

5. Third-Party Services

HistoryGuard Pro does not integrate with any third-party services:

• No analytics or tracking services

• No external APIs or data processing services

• No advertising networks or data brokers

• No cloud storage or backup services

The extension operates completely independently on your device.

6. Your Rights and Control

You have complete control over your data:

• Uninstall anytime: Remove the extension to stop all data processing

• Clear settings: Reset all preferences and keyword lists

• No data recovery: Deleted history cannot be recovered through our extension

• Local control: All data remains on your device under your control

• No account required: No registration or personal information needed
